A Brief Introduction
Born & Raised in the City
Having lived in the City of North Vancouver for 28 years, it has been quite an experience. In fact, up until I was 26, I lived in the very same home I grew up in. My mother has recently retired from Lions Gate Hospital where she was a neonatal nurse and my father a welder at the shipyards at the bottom of Lonsdale. They raised my younger twin brothers and I in this City. We played on many of the local sports teams and all graduated from Carson Graham Secondary, and then went on to Capilano University to get our post-secondary degrees. I have always been a part of this City, and it is the right choice to run for City Council and give back to the community I love.
Brett Thorburn is an outstanding individual. He demonstrates care, kindness, honesty to the highest degree. Brett stands for the 99% and comes from humble beginnings himself. I am proud to support my good friend as he ventures into politics.
